BLC Grants Application Process

​

Big Local Conniburrow has written a Community Plan that includes a budget for providing financial support to locally based or operating community groups which can help in achieving the goals laid out in the plan.

​

Grants can be awarded from £50 up to £1,500 in any one year.

​

  • Any organisation requesting a grant can simply complete the application or may contact the Conniburrow Big Local Hub on 07738405371 for help and advice in filling in the form.

​

  • On completion, the form will be submitted by email to contactBLC@biglocalconniburrow or posted to The Community Hub 34 Bramble Avenue Conniburrow MK14 7AP.

  • The application will then be evaluated by the Support Management Group using the ‘Conniburrow Big Local Small Grants Evaluation Checklist’.

​

  • If there are any areas that require clarification, a member of the team will contact the applicant and request appropriate details.

​

  • Once the application has been successfully evaluated and all the required supporting documents have been collated, it will be submitted to review at the Partnership Meeting.

​

  • Partnership meetings will be held on the first Monday of the month unless there is a Bank Holiday.

​

  • Copies of all current applications will be submitted to partnership members by the chair approximately one week before the Grants Panel Meeting for review.

​

Each application will then be reviewed at the Partnership Meeting - One of the following outcomes will be agreed:

  1. Agree to award the grant

  2. Decline the application

  3. Further Information required – either a request for further documentation or to arrange a visit by nominated Partners

A letter will be sent to the organisation/group, advising them of the outcome of the Partnership Meeting.

If further information or a visit is required, a decision on the application will be made at the next Full Partnership Meeting after the required information has been obtained.
