You said, we did!

Big Local Conniburrow ...

asking and listening to your feedback

Conniburrow Big Local has been talking and listening to residents - this is some of what  you told us and what we are doing to try and make things happen.

What you said - There aren't enough events happening on Conniburrow.
What we did - Since October 2012 we have run regular events and will continue to do so. These will be advertised on our website, on Facebook & Twitter and via leaflets.

What you said - More needs to be done with the landscape and planting.
What we did - We started "Guerilla Gardening" to help improve the look of the estate. We have even put fly tipping to good use! We work with the Ranger from Great Linford Parish Council on clean-up days and with NCS volunteers in summer months to improve the pond areas. We are have our own Community Orchard.

What you said - We need places to meet.
What we did - We hold informal drop-in sessions at our "community hub" at 34 Bramble Avenue. Did you know, we also have a Community Fridge and we save short date 'use by' items from going to landfill - please drop by on Community Fridge days to find out what we have. We can all help to save our planet.

What you said - Improve Park facilities.
What we did - We financed improvements to "Friendship Park" - a play area for under-5's; the Sona Arch; swing basket and "Gym Buddies".

What you Said - The pond is in a poor state.
What we did - We are working with GLPC and MKC to improve the pond area between Milfoil and Woodruffe.
We need volunteers to help, please.
What you Said - The Open Spaces are in a poor condition and are becoming dangerous for the children to play.
What we Did - We regularly monitor the open spaces and make reports directly to MK Council.
