We agreed our vision, ‘To transform Conniburrow into a place where people choose to live and stay for a long time, to support residents to build a proud, empowered and cohesive community where strong and positive relationships are developed regardless or background or circumstances-simply to be Conniburrow and Proud’

Our three priorities are:

​

1. Conniburrow Pride:  developing a sense of shared responsibility and a place to be enjoyed; promoting Conniburrow; supporting local initiatives such as our community choir; getting more people involved and building the number of volunteers serving others.

​

2. Building Social Cohesion: fostering community spirit, neighbourliness; using the community hub as a place where people can meet, chat, be safe and enjoy community activities; running community events that bring people together; publishing the Conniburrow Directory.

​

3. Improving the Physical Infrastructure: improving the way Conniburrow looks and how spaces and streets can be used and enjoyed; estate-wide clean ups, upgrading Friendship Park; planting the community orchard; funding a community art project.
